Welsh Assembly Candidate for South Wales Central
I grew up in Rhydyfelin, Caerphilly and Porthcawl, and currently live and work in Cardiff with my partner.
When I heard about the Women’s Equality Party, I knew I wanted to get involved in politics. I am a lead member of our Cardiff branch. I am committed to growing our numbers in Wales.
Wales is going backwards on equal representation. We now have fewer women Assembly Members, fewer women in the Cabinet and fewer women Council Leaders than we did ten years ago.
I sit on several university committees where I am the only woman. This has to change. I will make that change.
I am standing for WE because I want to give LBT women in Wales a louder voice, and to represent all diverse voices in Wales .
I believe that WE can make Wales and the UK a better and more equal place for all.
