"Hilarious... a powerhouse of observational wit" ~ The Spectator
Thursday 8th December - 19.30
The Underdog Gallery, London Bridge, SE1 3JW
Join comedian Kate Smurthwaite and friends for a special fundraising comedy night, with all proceeds donated to the Women's Equality Party.
In this, her 11th solo show, Kate Smurthwaite performs her critically acclaimed stand-up Smurthwaite on Masculinity. It is a show exploring the highs and lows of 21st century manhood. And Smurthwaite has taken "getting inside the subject" to a new level - performing the whole show in drag as her male alter-ego Milo Standards!
From cage fighting to dating, the football terraces to the House of Lords, Smurthwaite will be asking what men in the 21st century are up to and more importantly - why?!
Smurthwaite will be joined by some exciting up-and-coming new performers including Athena Kugblenu, Susie Steed, Zahra Barri and Cecilia Delatori.
Unreserved seated tickets cost £15.
Doors and bar open at 19.30 and the show will begin at 20.00. The show will end around 22.30 and the bar will remain open until late.
**PLEASE NOTE** THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT. NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE DOOR.
