Meet the WE staff team

We are a small and determined team who work hard to achieve the aims of the Party. We consider ourselves lucky to work alongside an army of volunteers who support us with everything from video-editing and website development to branch building and election planning. Cath Smith, Chief Executive

Cath leads on our national campaigns and elections. She is passionate about getting WEP representatives elected and driving change at a local and national level.

Amy Killen, Political Adviser

Amy began her involvement with the Women's Equality Party as a grassroots activist in 2015. Since then she has brought her experience and expertise to the Central Office team working in campaigns and elections before becoming Political Adviser in 2023. Amy works closely with the Leader and campaigns staff where she focuses on communications.

Eleanor Leone, Head of Operations

Eleanor leads on the Party’s day-to-day financial and operational matters. She has worked in both community based and commercial industries, and brings with her a keen interest in social justice, challenging the perceptions of gender, and environmental issues.

Kyra Ho, Digital Communications Coordinator

Kyra coordinates the party's digital communication and is angry about everything all of the time.

Hilary Haworth, Finance and Membership Officer

Hilary is the Membership and Finance officer. She is the first point of contact for members and responsible for the recruitment, retention and engagement of the party's members and supporters. Reporting to the Head of Operations, Hilary also handles certain of the Party’s day-to-day financial processes.

Erika Yap, Campaigns Coordinator

Erika works to advance the Party's campaigning objectives and organise local and national actions. She acts as a primary connection to our branches and supports activists across the country to build and develop effective campaigns.

Aimee Williams-Maynard, Communications Coordinator

Aimee is our Communications Coordinator, she works closely with campaigns and membership team to coordinate the journey of members and supporters. She manages the day-to-day work of the press office, as well as recruiting, engaging and retaining the party's members and supporters.
